Dominican York Proyecto Grafica collection of print portfolios acquired by The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Metropolitan Museum of Art has acquired the complete collection of print portfolios from the Dominican York Proyecto Grafica, including Manifestaciones, Here & There, Comunidad/Community, and Uptown Print Project.


Dominican York Proyecto Grafica (DYPG) is a printmaking collective of artists of Dominican descent who live and work in and around New York City. MGC's Luanda Lozano and Moses Ros-Suárez are founding members.


Founded in 2010, the collective's founding members also include Carlos Almonte, Pepe Coronado, René de los Santos, Iliana Emilia García, Reynaldo García Pantaleón, Scherezade García, Alex Guerrero, Miguel Luciano, Chiqui Junior Mendoza, and Rider Ureña.
