In 2004 I started etching at Manhattan Graphics and have had the good fortune to work with Fred Mersheimer, Vijay Kumar and Beth Ganz over the years. Collaboration with such amazing, gifted printmakers continues to challenge me. As MGC has been closed during the Covid crisis, I have recently started to work with Nandini Chiramar on line, layering with japanese papers on top of proofs of images in progress.

The MGC board is a growing and dedicated mix of printmakers, educators and business people and has been a real learning experience for me. MGC’s active role in the community is one of the things that inspires me as a board member. The Visiting Printmakers Workshop in NYC public schools, Anna Lee Arm’s High School classes at MGC, The Scholarship Program, and Artists Talks, now online, are a few of the programs that have impacted students and young people in New York.
