A paper lithograph, or gum arabic transfer, is a non-toxic process for pulling prints from black and white photocopies, laser prints, or hand drawn images. More than reproductions, these prints will serve as jumping-off points for building layered, evocative images. Together we will explore ways of combining paper lithography with monoprint techniques to create new works and to bring new meaning to previously unresolved prints. Demos, technical troubleshooting, and informal critique will be included. $300.00 + Material Fee: $50.00 *includes 2, 4 hour sessions of open workshop time Instructor Bio: Lisa D.
