BECOME A KEYHOLDER/MONITOR!

Join our amazing team of volunteers by becoming a keyholder/monitor. In exchange for your time, you will receive open access to the studio 24/7 with exclusive access on Mondays prior to 6 pm.

MGC has about 20-25 volunteer keyholder/monitors at any given time. They make our open studio hours possible. They also support MGC in other ways, serving on committees and supporting fundraising activities.

How it Works

All keyholder/monitors work approximately 11 shifts per term. Each term is 15 weeks long. All shift are 4 hours, so monitors work approximately 44 hours per term.  Shifts times are as follows:

Mondays: 6 pm - 10 pm

Tuesdays-Fridays: 10 am-2 pm, 2 pm-6 pm, 6 pm-10 pm

Saturday-Sunday: 10 am-2 pm, 2 pm-6 pm

We have two position types: those that are set for the same day and time each week and floater positions where monitors work the same times but over different days of the week.

Shifts are open on an as needed basis. Please inquire for availability.
