About

William C. Tucker has been an active member of MGC for 18 years, specializing in intaglio and monotype printmaking. He holds an M.F.A. in painting and has taught studio art at the college level, including Columbia University and Fashion Institute. His work is represented in a number of public collections. In his monotypes, he uses color and collage-like pictorial illusion to weave subtle and evocative abstract tapestries reminiscent of the Surrealist landscapes of Dali and de Chirico.
