Hück—a celebrated woodcut artist and satirist whose work is deeply influenced by the German Old Masters—is hunkered down in The Evil Bunker, preparing to share his master skills with enrolled students. In this class, Hück will teach his exceptional technique as he carves and prints a benefit print for MGC based on The Witches by Hans Baldung. In live Zoom classes, Hück will guide students through his pre-recorded demonstrations and answer questions from students. Students will be able to show Huck their work and receive one-on-one feedback both in class and in a closed online forum on MGC’s website.

Students will need: a computer with a webcamera and internet connection; a free Zoom account, a quality piece of plywood, Japanese woodcut knives, printing ink, printing paper (20-25 sheets), and a wooden cooking spoon. (Huck will demonstrate the wooden spoon printing technique.)
